Sleek living

Im a big fan ofcontemporary ( not minimalist) design with a bit of traditional elements. Upholstered chairs with clean lines, statement coffee tables, nonfussy window treatments and ofcourse modern lighting.

This is one of my favourite living room ideas.

The colour palette is so modern yet soothing to the eye. Modular sofas are juxtaposed with one large square coffee table and 2 chairs. Sofa table is replaced by a sleek mini bookshelf cum display.Simple window treatment in plaid complements the cushions and arm chairs. Just a dash of metallic in the flower vase sits well with the see through lamp base. A subtle burst of purple in the balcony brings in a touch of femininity. Overall a very symmetric yet not boring arrangement and accesorising.

Muted tones of amber, grey and brown with a shimmer here and a sparkle there brings in a very crisp and well put together look. The large coffee table really grounds the seating arrangement. I love how the colours are complemented in the carpet, tying everything together in a simple yet sophisticated palette. Beautiful feature wall in beige adds more texture to this elegant creation.

Black and white is another classic
Gorgeous combo of greys and whites with powdering of yellows and greens- scrumptious!
